Washington, DC Nursing Job Details
- Location: Washington, DC 20007 – Georgetown neighborhood, close to museums, entertainment, and scenic parks
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 22, 2025
- End Date: March 23, 2026
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 17:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,320 - $2,490
- Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Unit: Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN, Interventional Vascular Lab, or Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Active DC Registered Nurse license (in hand or pending with proof of application)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- BSN preferred
- Proficient in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
- Skilled in central line insertion/management, IV initiation/maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, procedural sedation monitoring, ventilator monitoring, and PA lines
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Two supervisor references required
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Support central line insertion and management
- Start and maintain IVs, monitor procedural sedation, and manage ventilators
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Adhere to isolation precautions and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and social services
- Document patient care using Cerner charting system
- Complete orientation and required training modules
