• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (Upstate New York nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Center, Multiple ICU Units
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing

• End Date: March 29, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York State or compact eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Level I trauma center experience preferred)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float between ICU units (neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, ED, PACU)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings
• Float between units, adapting to diverse patient populations and acuity levels
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Respond to emergencies and deliver advanced life support interventions
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery
