ER RN Job Details – North Carolina Healthcare Jobs

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (26 beds)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (RN License)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Associates Degree in Nursing or higher
• Meditech EHR experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and engagement

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with emergency conditions: respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, hypertension
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5, adapting to acuity levels
• Utilize GE monitors and standard emergency department equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to similar assignments as needed
• Comply with hospital policies and procedures, including dress code (any scrub color acceptable)
