Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• ACLS and PALS certifications (can be obtained within 60 and 90 days of start, respectively)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Ability to float to other hospital departments as needed
• Must reside more than 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel nurse assignment

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) setting, including Medicine, Surgery, Telemetry, and Pediatrics
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and accurately document care using MEDHOST EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as required
• Float to other nursing units based on patient census and department needs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
