Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details
- Location: Akron, Ohio (44307) – Ohio healthcare job
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
- Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

- End Date: March 20, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
- One supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Onsite badging and fingerprinting required prior to start
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Offer compassionate support and education to patients and their families
