Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 – New York healthcare jobs
Unit: 4 South – Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)
Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
Start Date: December 7, 2025
End Date: March 8, 2026
Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,990 - $2,130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (New York State or compact eligible)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies
