Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Rock Island, IL 61201 (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Oncology 4S, Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Site Position
• EMR System: EPIC
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950 - $2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois or Iowa (Registered Nurse jobs in Illinois and Iowa)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing
• Oncology nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on the Oncology 4S Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
• Educate and support patients and their families
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic clinical environment
• Float to similar nursing units within the facility as needed
