Homecare RN Job Details

Location: Walla Walla, WA (serving Walla Walla County, Columbia and Umatilla Counties within a 60-mile radius)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
On-Call: 2-3 nights per month (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM); one weekend per month (with offsetting days off)
EMR System: HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050 - $2200

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
At least 1 year of recent home health nursing experience with a Medicare-certified agency
Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel nursing assignments within the service area
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Home Health RN Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for each patient
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
Accurately document all care and communication in the HCHB EMR system
Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
Travel throughout the assigned territory to deliver in-home nursing care
