Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• Healthcare Setting: On-Site, Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (3 shifts per week)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43201
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1550 - $1660 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio or compact state)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Med/Surg nursing job
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing staff
• Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Contribute to team building and a supportive work environment
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing professionals
