Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Rock Island, IL 61201 (Quad Cities – Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown (7N)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Pay

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,950–$2,090 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience
• First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to manage a 1:4-5 patient ratio in a cardiac stepdown setting
• Submission of updated resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document all patient information using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Float within the same nursing discipline across local Rock Island campuses as needed
• Participate in charge nurse and precepting duties as assigned
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
