Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Marinette, WI 54143 (Wisconsin travel nursing opportunity)
• Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center
• Unit: Med/Surg (IU Med Unit)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: December 29, 2025 – End: March 28, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours per Week: 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring (telemetry nurse skills)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and manage patient acuity ratios

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical patients in a clinical setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for patient safety and clinical support
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including hospitalists, LPNs, respiratory therapists, and phlebotomists
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records system
• Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing education
• Adhere to PPE protocols and ensure patient safety at all times
• Support efficient patient flow and unit operations within the hospital
