Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Emergency Department (26 beds)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed hours)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570–$1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Meditech EHR experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based emergency care to patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension
• Operate and monitor standard emergency department equipment, including GE monitors
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Electronic Health Record
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to similar nursing assignments as needed
