• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, 19:00-07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Charting System: Cerner
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960

ER RN Qualifications

• Current and active Pennsylvania or compact Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience in Trauma Level I or II Emergency Departments preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
• No local candidates (must live at least 75 miles from facility)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies
• Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Manage central lines, chest tubes, ventilated patients, and advanced airway procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Utilize Cerner for electronic charting and clinical documentation
• Participate in rotating shifts and every other weekend coverage as required
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing, onboarding, and hospital policies
