Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)

On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state RN license (required for New Mexico nursing jobs)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required
ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) required
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to schedule changes and manage emergency situations in a fast-paced OR environment

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and quality standards for all surgical patients
Provide age-appropriate, evidence-based care according to clinical protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect in all patient interactions
Follow infection control and safety guidelines in the OR setting
Assist with positioning, transferring, and preparing patients and surgical equipment
