Med/Surg RN Job Details – Keene, NH

• Location: Keene, New Hampshire 03431 (New Hampshire nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
• Patient Population: Adult-Geriatric
• Unit: Kingsbury Pavilion (Custodial Unit, lower acuity, nurse-to-patient ratios up to 9:1)
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR
• Dress Code: Professional scrubs provided by traveler (no logos)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,930 - $2,070

Med/Surg Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Willingness to float to Thompson Unit and care for Kingsbury custodial patients as needed
• Ability to manage higher nurse-to-patient ratios (up to 9:1) in a lower-acuity setting
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in profile (local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible)
• All medical/occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
• Any requested time off must be included in your profile at submission

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a custodial Med/Surg healthcare setting
• Deliver patient and family education to promote positive health outcomes
• Collaborate with ancillary staff and the healthcare team to uphold professional nursing standards
• Float to other units as needed, including Thompson Unit and custodial assignments
• Accurately document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
• Maintain a compassionate and professional approach in a fast-paced clinical environment
