Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Berlin, Vermont (05602) – Central Vermont healthcare jobs
• Assignment Length: 21 weeks (December 22, 2025 – May 18, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2160 - $2210
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licenses considered)
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Telemetry certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience OR 3 years of Telemetry nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required (must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300+ bed facilities OR previous experience at a UVMHN acute care facility)
• EPIC charting experience within the past 2 years required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Reliable transportation required (public transportation is not accessible in this area)
• Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires from November through April

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Perform bedside nursing procedures including NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, and telemetry strip interpretation
• Work every other weekend and adjust schedule as needed to meet unit and patient care needs
• Work 2 out of 4 major holidays during the assignment (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
• Document patient care using the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
