Med/Surg RN Job Details – Ithaca, NY

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Med/Surg Registered Nurse
Unit: 4 South Medical Surgical Unit
Start Date: December 22, 2025
End Date: March 23, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990 - $2,130
On-Site Nursing Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; New York State RN license preferred
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Experience with EPIC EMR required
Ability to float to other medical-surgical units as needed
BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on the Med/Surg unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using EPIC EMR
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Float to other nursing units within scope as required
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
