Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Cath Lab, Short-Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
- Location: Portland, OR 97225 (Oregon nursing jobs)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:30 – 18:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2350-$2520
- On-Call: Weekday and weekend on-call required
- Floating: May float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Scrubs: Provided for Cath Lab RNs
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free onsite parking
- Transportation: Must have a vehicle for assignment and facility travel
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience (travel nursing experience preferred)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system
- Demonstrated skills in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left/right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- Ability to float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
- Two recent supervisory references (covering at least one year within the last three years)
- Reliable vehicle required for travel between facilities
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, including administration and monitoring of conscious sedation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, pharmacy, rapid response, and support staff
- Float to other nursing units or affiliate hospitals as needed, adapting to new clinical environments
- Participate in on-call rotation for weekday and weekend coverage
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EHR
- Adhere to hospital policies and ensure patient safety and quality standards at all times
