Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine or compact state (Registered Nurse license required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• Experience documenting in EPIC EMR
• Willingness to float to other nursing units as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a float pool setting
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry strips and patient conditions
• Accurately document patient care in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to various hospital units as required
