Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 27, 2025 – January 26, 2026)
Setting: Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services
Shift: 10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), variable schedule with call required
Hours per Week: 40
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860-$2000
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing)
Skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries (required)
Comprehensive experience in general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma service lines
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Ability to work variable schedules and participate in on-call rotation

OR RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a dynamic OR environment
Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: joint, neuro, ortho, vascular, general, GYN, robotics, plastics, urology, burn, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols
Float to other clinical departments as needed
