Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 27, 2025 – January 26, 2026)
- Setting: Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), variable schedule with call required
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860-$2000
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- On-Site Position
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing)
- Skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries (required)
- Comprehensive experience in general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma service lines
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work variable schedules and participate in on-call rotation
OR RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a dynamic OR environment
- Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: joint, neuro, ortho, vascular, general, GYN, robotics, plastics, urology, burn, and trauma cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols
- Float to other clinical departments as needed
