CVOR RN Job Details – Camden, NJ

• Location: Camden, New Jersey (Zip: 08103) – New Jersey nursing jobs
• Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-Call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday; must work either the day before or after if off the holiday. Must work both an evening and a day shift, as well as a winter and spring hallmark shift.
• Hourly Pay Rate: $106.95
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,410 – $2,580

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Level 1 Trauma RN experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license (Registered Nurse)
• BSN degree preferred
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• COVID-19 vaccination with at least one booster required
• Scrub and circulate experience in CVOR, including endovascular cases
• Strong attention to detail for patient safety and quality monitoring
• Excellent organizational skills for clinical support and coordination of care
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet department needs
• At least 1 year of relevant cardiovascular operating room experience required

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for endovascular and cardiovascular surgical cases
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma OR environment
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for holidays as scheduled
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the surgical department
