Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN Circulator) – Pratt, Kansas

• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Call Requirements: Call every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Unit Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Previous experience as an OR RN Circulator strongly preferred
• Proficiency in orthopedics, including total joints
• Experience with general surgery and OB/C-sections
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active nursing license in hand or compact license at time of submission
• Comfortable working with a broad range of surgical cases and perioperative procedures
• Ability to work with common charting systems and follow perioperative best practices
• At least one professional reference required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the OR RN Circulator and support safe, efficient surgical workflow
• Prepare the operating room and coordinate care throughout the perioperative process
• Assist with a variety of procedures, including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and OB/C-sections
• Maintain strict adherence to fire safety, infection control, radiation safety, and universal protocol standards
• Support specimen handling, wound management, blood product administration, and surgical safety checks
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Float to different units as needed based on staffing needs
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
