Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Weekend availability required, including Friday through Sunday rotations
• Holiday Requirement: Must be willing to work Christmas

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a valid compact-state license
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and required holidays

Travel ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, evidence-based nursing care to patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care, and recognize changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilization, and resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary departments, and other members of the emergency care team
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate critical findings promptly
• Provide clear patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation while supporting a safe and efficient Emergency Department environment
