Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract in Clarkston, Washington

Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a travel nursing contract in Clarkston, WA. Join a dynamic perioperative nursing team and provide high-quality care across preoperative, postoperative, PACU, Phase II recovery, endoscopy, and infusion settings.

Travel Nursing Job Details

PACU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least two years of recent SSSU, PACU, preoperative, or postoperative nursing experience
• Strong clinical skills in preoperative care, postoperative care, PACU nursing, and Phase II recovery
• Experience with endoscopy and infusion services preferred
• Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation
• Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to float throughout outpatient services and support hospital needs for conscious sedation procedures

Travel PACU RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after procedures across the perioperative continuum.
• Monitor patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and Phase II recovery areas, identifying and responding to post-anesthesia and postoperative complications.
• Complete focused nursing assessments and provide appropriate interventions based on each patient’s condition.
• Deliver perioperative education to patients and families, including procedure preparation and recovery instructions.
• Support patient care in the day surgery, endoscopy laboratory, preoperative clinic, infusion, and other outpatient service areas.
• Assist with nursing care for patients undergoing conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in the shared on-call rotation and respond appropriately to unit and hospital needs.
