Work Type: Full Time
Shift:Shift 2 /12:00:00 PM to 8:30:00 PM and Alternating weekend hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.00 - $23.50 / hour
**$1,500 sign on for eligible candidates**
Summary
The Blood Center Technician I - Components is responsible for a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support the day-to-day operation in the component lab. Clinical duties include processing whole blood and apheresis collections, and sampling for quality control. Duties performed in the component workroom include processing blood units into various components. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines and printers, in addition to basic computer skills in the blood bank information system.

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

License: N/A
Other: Good communication and interpersonal skills required. Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, problem solve and work independently. Basic knowledge of computer data entry and retrieval. Detail oriented.
