Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$25.00 - $32.50 / hour
Summary
The Radiology Technologist (RT) is responsible for providing excellent customer service (internal and external). The RT is a licensed position. The RT performs Fixed Diagnostic Radiology imaging procedures in accordance with LMHS, Radiology Services, State and Federal regulations. The RT evaluates and determines the diagnostic image quality or recorded images and imaging systems. The RT completes radiographic procedure charge forms, maintains monthly statistics, tracks referrals and maintains an x-ray filing system. The RT provides orientation and training as needed. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff including, but not limited to, utilizing two patient identifiers, radiation safety, infection control and equipment safety. The RT may provide patient care related tasks as directed including checking patients into exam rooms, providing written patient education, phlebotomy, Point of Care tests, processing lab specimens and assisting in minor surgical procedures. This position reports to the manager/supervisor and is non-exempt.
