Work Type: Full Time - Saturday/Sunday/Monday
Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 8:30:00 PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.39 - $39.50 / hour- Shift Differential and Weekend Differential offered.

As aMRI Technologistwith Lee Health, you'll use the latest imaging technology to help uncover answers that make a real difference in patient lives. Working alongside a collaborative, highly skilled imaging team, you will perform advanced MRI procedures in a supportive environment, whether in one of our leading outpatient centers or hospital-based settings.
What You Will Do:
- Perform MRI scans, operate MRI scanner/injector systems, and produce diagnostic-quality MR images
- Maintain and troubleshoot MR scanner software and equipment
- Apply knowledge of MR anatomy, pathology and physiology to support image quality
- Provide compassionate patient care: ensure comfort, safety, efficient workflow
- Participate in performance improvement efforts, student/staff orientation
- Occasionally perform tasks such as venipuncture for applicable MRI exams and non-narcotic medication transport (depending on site)

Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality MR images. Understands the computer software of the MR scanners and maintains competency in MR area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to MR anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.
