Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 2/3:00:00PM to 11:00:00PM - Call and Holiday coverage/obligation

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$28.94 - $37.62 / hour

As a Lead Radiology Technologist:

  • Performs all clinical duties and responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Participates in staff scheduling to ensure appropriate shift and on-call coverage.
  • Assists with employee orientation, training, competency assessments, and ongoing staff development.
  • Conducts blood gas competency evaluations when qualified as a Key Operator.
  • Actively contributes to the clinical evaluation of new products, equipment, and procedures.
  • Provides leadership through conflict resolution and addresses frontline concerns and complaints.
  • Serves as a clinical resource and support person for staff during the shift.

(Coordinates daily radiology department operations and workflow. Acts as a resource to staff. Accepts assigned duties such as developing staffing schedules. Accepts in charge responsibilities as appropriate. Performs diagnostic radiology imaging, including routine and fluoroscopy procedures. Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety. Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images. Participate in performance improvement initiatives. Participate in staff/student orientation and training. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Required to participate in staffing rotation as determined by specific department needs.)

Requirements

Education:Graduate of JRCERT-accredited or ARRT-approved Radiography Program.

Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of full-time Diagnostic Radiography experience required.

Certification:BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required.

License:Florida Radiologic Technologist License.

Other:ARRT or eligible. Ability to lead diagnostic technologists in a fast-paced, high-volume department.
