Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.39 - $39.50 / hour

Cat Scan (CT) Technologist:
- Performs CT imaging, ensures safety and quality, maintains equipment proficiency, and supports patient care, training, and improvement initiatives.
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography Program
- 1yr experienced required
- Florida Radiologic Technology License: Required or eligible to obtain
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support): Required or eligible to obtain
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Registered: Required or eligible to obtain

- Shift differential for the entire shift is $6 per hour for night shift (zone 3), $3 per hour for evening hours (zone 2)
Performs all CT procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the CT area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality CT images. Understands the computer software of the CT scanners and maintains competency in CT area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to CT anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.
Requirements
Education: Graduation of JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) Accredited or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) approved Radiography Program required.
Experience: 1 yrexperience required.
Certification: BLS required. ARRT Registered or eligible.
License: Florida Radiologic Technologist License
