Shift:Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM ; Monday - Friday + On Call Requirements
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.54 - $26.93 / hour
Summary
A Neurodiagnostic Technologist II work under the general supervision of the Director or designee to perform Neurodiagnostic testing to the patient population served. Demonstrates accuracy in applying the International 10-20 system of electrode placement. Testing includes: Routine and portable EEG, LTVM, ICU, Ambulatory EEG, BAER and VEP studies. Assist the Neurologist with EMG/NCV studies. Required to participate in ""on-call"" rotation. Required to travel to other LMHS facilities' Neurodiagnostic Lab as directed by a Neuro Tech III or Director. Maintain a willingness to learn and develop in the field of END technology.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience: R. EEG.T, enrolled in an END ABRET-recognized program, eligible to sit for exams, or 2 years or more of END experience.
Certification: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) required.
License: N/A
Other: Medical Terminology typing and filing of reports, phone skills, and computer skills.
