As a MRI Technologist with Lee Health, youll use the latest imaging technology to help uncover answers that make a real difference in patient lives. Working alongside a collaborative, highly skilled imaging team, you will perform advanced MRI procedures in a supportive environment, whether in one of our leading outpatient centers or hospital-based settings. What You Will Do:
Perform MRI scans, operate MRI scanner/injector systems, and produce diagnostic-quality MR images
Maintain and troubleshoot MR scanner software and equipment
Apply knowledge of MR anatomy, pathology and physiology to support image quality
Provide compassionate patient care: ensure comfort, safety, efficient workflow
Participate in performance improvement efforts, student/staff orientation
Occasionally perform tasks such as venipuncture for applicable MRI exams and non-narcotic medication transport (depending on site)

I was expected to float to another facility mid shift. No lab techs. Nursing was expected to draw labs and run them. At first it seemed overwhelming, then it seemed like we should have been reimbursed for having a new credential under our belt
