Oncology Pharmacist BCOP
HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Oncology Pharmacist BCOP to fill an opening with a hospital in Fort Myers, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Oncology Pharmacist BCOP:
- The pharmacist ensures the safe provision of high-quality patient care by engaging in tasks such as entering, assessing, and confirming treatment and therapy plans.
- Working alongside healthcare providers to explore new treatment options, educating patients, conducting drug evaluations and formulary discussions, mentoring students and residents, monitoring and managing therapy-related side effects, and acting as an authority on drug information.
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Required Qualifications for Oncology Pharmacist BCOP:
- Must be Rph or PharmD with license in FL
- Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from a College of Pharmacy Accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy
- Must be a BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist)
- 1+ years of experience as an inpatient Pharmacist
- Oncology experience required
Preferred Qualifications for Oncology Pharmacist BCOP:
- Recent acute care experience
