Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview
- Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Schedule notes: Weekends required; block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
- Other notes: Must be willing to float if needed; no locals within a 50-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- CPI
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to obstetrical patients
- Perform assessments, administer medications, carry out provider orders, evaluate patient response, document care, and communicate with the care team
Unit Details
- 10-bed unit
- Patient-to-nurse ratio varies by stage of labor, from 1:1 to 1:4
Preferred
- Meditech experience
Additional Notes
- Candidates will be reviewed/interviewed by the manager
- RTO must be included in the submission to be honored at offer time
