Labor and Delivery RN

Job Overview

Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule notes: Weekends required; block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
Other notes: Must be willing to float if needed; no locals within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP issued by American Heart Association
CPI

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct care to obstetrical patients
Perform assessments, administer medications, carry out provider orders, evaluate patient response, document care, and communicate with the care team

Unit Details

10-bed unit
Patient-to-nurse ratio varies by stage of labor, from 1:1 to 1:4

Preferred

Meditech experience

Additional Notes

Candidates will be reviewed/interviewed by the manager
RTO must be included in the submission to be honored at offer time
