Job Description
- Role: Traveler will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
- Patient Diagnoses:
- Nephrology
- Urology (surgical and non-surgical)
- Benign hematology
- Medical/Surgical (M/S)
Unit Details
- Unit: East Tower 8 (27 beds) - Urology/Sickle Cell
- Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours (7 AM - 7:30 PM) for a total of 36 hours per week
- Call: No call required
- Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:4-5
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- IV start
- Intermediate care experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with Epic
Additional Information
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Background Check: 7-Year Criminal Background Check required
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 3 months of start
- Health Documents:
- Physical Exam
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- MMR Vaccines or Positive Titer
- Hepatitis B Titer or 3-Vaccine Series
- Varicella Vaccines or Positive Titer
- Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
