Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location

  • Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Call requirements: Minimum 10-12 shifts per month, including up to two weekend calls per month
  • May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

  • Joint Commission Accredited
  • Certified Chest Pain Center
  • Level 3 Trauma Center
  • Regional referral center

Patient Population & Unit Profile

  • Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Specialty: Cath Lab procedures
  • Equipment experience needed: Impella, IABP, PCI, atherectomy
  • Patient types: Cardiac patients requiring interventional procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
  • Impella experience
  • IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience
  • PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) experience
  • Atherectomy experience

Additional Information

  • Scrubs will be provided by the unit
  • Location offers outdoor recreation such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking
  • Proximity to major cities: Las Vegas (~2.5 hours), Phoenix (~3.25 hours), Grand Canyon (~3.5 hours), Los Angeles/San Diego (~5 hours)
