Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts
Patient Ratios: 1:2 during days, 1:1 during nights
On-call required: Yes, 6:30 PM to 8:00 AM and 24 hours Sunday
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
Local candidates accepted: No (75 mile radius rule)
Pending license accepted: No
Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days
First-time travelers: Yes
Epic experience preferred
Charge RN experience highly preferred; may be placed in charge RN role

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, including dialysis experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Health and Compliance Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Immunizations/vaccinations or proof of immunity required:
- TDAP (within 10 years) or declination accepted
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines; booster or declination acceptable for low titers)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer required; vaccine series alone not accepted)
- Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines; booster or declination acceptable)
Negative 12-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
COVID vaccine preferred but not required; declination or exemption required if unvaccinated
Respiratory safety clearance required annually

Additional Information

Photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing contract
Various facility-specific confidentiality, compliance, and emergency contact forms must be signed and on file prior to start
Skills checklist required annually

Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
