Description
Registered Nurse - Dialysis
Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 during days, 1:1 during nights
- On-call required: Yes, 6:30 PM to 8:00 AM and 24 hours Sunday
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Local candidates accepted: No (75 mile radius rule)
- Pending license accepted: No
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days
- First-time travelers: Yes
- Epic experience preferred
- Charge RN experience highly preferred; may be placed in charge RN role
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, including dialysis experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations/vaccinations or proof of immunity required:
- TDAP (within 10 years) or declination accepted
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines; booster or declination acceptable for low titers)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer required; vaccine series alone not accepted)
- Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines; booster or declination acceptable)
- Negative 12-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
- COVID vaccine preferred but not required; declination or exemption required if unvaccinated
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually
Additional Information
- Photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing contract
- Various facility-specific confidentiality, compliance, and emergency contact forms must be signed and on file prior to start
- Skills checklist required annually
