Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Miami, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
Facility Type: Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
Department Structure: Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/Charge Therapist per shift, regular staff
Equipment Used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
Documentation System: Meditech
Floating Policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Job Description

Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technologies and medication delivery
Work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and collaborative environment
Personality Fit: Team player, critical thinker, patient care focused, adaptable to change

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience, including experience within the last year
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, NBRC
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience in an Acute Care setting
