Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Assignment

Location

• Panama City, Florida

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Possible weekend work

Unit Information

• Respiratory Therapy Department in a 226-bed acute care hospital
• Unit staffed by approximately 35 team members
• Patient ratios vary depending on day and area coverage; teamwork is essential
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs required

Specialty & Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Required NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) experience at Level 3

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with PB 840 and Dräger ventilators
• Ability to deliver surfactant during deliveries

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• NICU experience
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
