Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Travel)

- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
Unit Information
- Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds, including 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 Antepartum rooms, and 10 Triage rooms
- Staff on day shift: 22 RNs, 2-3 CSTs, 1 Charge nurse, 1 Flex nurse
- Staff on night shift: 20 RNs, 1-2 CSTs, 1 Charge nurse, 1 Flex nurse
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Equipment: Centricity and GE monitors
- EMR systems: Meditech / CPN
Typical Procedures
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Dilation and curettage (D&C)
- Hysterectomy
- Postpartum tubal ligation
- Cerclage placement
- External cephalic version
- Care for high-risk obstetrics patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- OR - Operating Room experience
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
