Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)
Location: Hudson, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center with a 309-bed capacity.
- Assigned to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab unit (2 EP Labs, 1 CVT tech, 4.5 RNs).
- Day shift staffing example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters.
- Equipment used includes GE X-ray system and Claris hemodynamic system.
- EMR systems: Mac Lab and Meditech.
- Typical procedures: A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostics, device insertions, TEE/CV.
- No call requirement.
- Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
- Team environment described as easy going, self-starter, and team player.
- Robust EP program with great team and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Cath Lab experience is preferred but not mandatory.

- Scrub color for RNs: Navy Blue.
- Parking available anywhere except ER parking.
- Work location is on the 1st floor of the main building.
