Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Hudson, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Work in a Level II Trauma Center with a 309-bed capacity.
• Assigned to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab unit (2 EP Labs, 1 CVT tech, 4.5 RNs).
• Day shift staffing example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters.
• Equipment used includes GE X-ray system and Claris hemodynamic system.
• EMR systems: Mac Lab and Meditech.
• Typical procedures: A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostics, device insertions, TEE/CV.
• No call requirement.
• Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
• Team environment described as easy going, self-starter, and team player.
• Robust EP program with great team and physicians.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Electrophysiology Lab experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Scrub color for RNs: Navy Blue.
• Parking available anywhere except ER parking.
• Work location is on the 1st floor of the main building.
