MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Location: Radiology Department, 1st Floor
Number of Staff: 5 Technologists
- Day Shift: 2 Technologists
- Evening Shift: 2 Technologists
- Night Shift: Call
Equipment: GE 450W 1.5T MRI
EMR Systems: Meditech, Centricity PACS

Typical Procedures

Brain, Spine, Orthopedic
Body, Abdomen, Cardiac (preferred skill)

Required Certifications & Licenses

Virginia State MRI License (must have at submission)

Requirements/Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification
Experience on GE equipment

Work Schedule & On-Call

36 hours per week
Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 weekend per month
Night call: 2 weeknights per week (typically 11 PM to 6 AM)
