Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Perform procedures including TAVR, Mitral/Tri Clips, Carotid stenting, TMVR, PFO closures, and Watchman device placements.
- Scrub for cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Work in a cardiac cath lab with 5 procedure suites.
- Unit uses advanced equipment such as Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator.
- EMR systems used: MacLab and Meditech.
- Patient ratio approximately 1 patient to 3-4 staff members.
- Day shift staffing includes 1 Director, 1 CNC, 4.6 RNs, and 5 techs.
- Night shift is on-call for emergent cases.
- Typical procedures: Diagnostic and Interventional Cath, Peripheral Vascular, Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, EP/ABL.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Cardiac Catheterization experience
- Coronary Intervention (CRM) experience
- Peripheral Vascular (PV) experience
- TAVR procedure experience
- Mitral Clip procedure experience
- Tricuspid Clip procedure experience
- Carotid stenting experience
- TMVR procedure experience
- PFO closure experience
- Watchman device experience
Schedule & Work Conditions
- Scheduled according to facility policy.
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff.
