Nuclear Med Tech

Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (36 hours per week)

Unit Information

Department: Nuclear Medicine
Staff on Unit: 3 Nuclear Med Techs (day shift)
Equipment Used: Phillips and GE imaging systems
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

PET Scans
HIDA scans
GI Bleed studies
Stress Tests

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (N) Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Candidate Attributes

Outgoing personality
Comfortable working with high acuity patients

Additional Information

Floating assignments may include PET Scan and Nuclear Medicine areas
Dress code: Dark grey scrubs
On-call duties required
