Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Kennewick, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Interventional Cardiology/Radiology
  • Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week plus standby
  • Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed
  • Call Requirements: 7 shifts per 2-week pay period (variable weekend on-call)
  • Team: 3-person team
  • Patient Population: Geriatric and adult
  • Patient Ratio: 2 beds in unit
  • Equipment Used: Philips/McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR): Paragon (hospital), McKesson-Change Healthcare (hemo)
  • Role: Scrub role required; monitor role preferred
  • Common Procedures: Cardiovascular/peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Dress Code: Green scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Washington
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • RT, CVIS, or RCIS certification
  • At least an Associate's degree

Additional Information

  • No float requirements
  • Candidates must be located at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
  • Facility is a Level III trauma center
  • Located in a region with recreational opportunities including golf courses, parks, and wine country
  • Travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position offers an opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment within a well-equipped cardiac catheterization lab.
