Registered Nurse - ICU

Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Medical Intensive Care Unit (16-bed high acuity)
Provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients
Collaborative multidisciplinary care team
Focus on patient comfort, safety, and optimal outcomes

Work Schedule

36 or 48 hours per week accepted (36 guaranteed hours)
Holidays as required by facility
Every other weekend required
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
