Description

Registered Nurse (Surgery) - Travel Position

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care independently in a cardiovascular operating room setting, including open-heart cases.
Support general OR cases as needed.
Utilize nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Demonstrate leadership consistent with professional nursing competencies.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiovascular open-heart case experience
CVOR experience
Experience with Epic

Work Schedule

Full-time, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each.
Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Additional Information

Must disclose Return to Origin (RTO) status upfront before offer.
