Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)
Location
- Springfield, Tennessee

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Medical-Surgical (MS2 & MS3)
- Number of beds: 27 per floor
- Patient ratio: 5:1
- Staffing: Unit secretaries during dayshift; techs available on all shifts
- Floating: Required to float between MS2 and MS3 units
- Equipment: Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allen vital sign machines
- Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
- Schedule: 3 days per week with every other weekend
- Dress code: Dark blue uniform
Patient Population & Care
- Basic Medical-Surgical patients
- Post-operative patients, especially orthopedic cases
- Procedures: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
Hours
- 36 hours per week
