Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, with shared on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Same Day Surgery Unit (SSSU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Float across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and support hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures.
• Utilize strong skills in pre-operative care, PACU, and Phase II recovery.
• Perform nursing assessments, peri-operative education, and care.
• Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Preoperative experience
• Perioperative experience

• Schedule includes shared on-call rotation.
• Must be able to work a variable schedule within the outlined shift pattern.
