Description
MRI Technologist (Temporary)
Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
Shift: Days
Hours per day: 10
Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Perform MRI procedures independently under limited supervision, applying technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety. Responsible for executing a variety of MRI technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert
- Venipuncture certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Toshiba and Cerner systems
- Prior travel experience highly preferred
Work Environment & Additional Information
- Position located in a very rural area with limited housing and public transportation options; candidates should plan accordingly
- The Radiology Department provides 24/7 services including diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density, and mammography
- The department emphasizes quality control, radiation safety, quality assurance, and continuing education
