Registered Nurse – PCU (North Carolina, Greensboro)

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Floating: Required as needed
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina

Job Description

Focus on cardiac patients including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
Secondary focus on respiratory conditions such as COPD and pneumonia
Common patient diagnoses: Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, Pneumonia

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Telemetry experience
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
